| favorite moment: | There are so MANY GREAT moments its hard to pick one. I really like We'll Be Togethre and Who's That Guy, but the highlights for me include Michelle Pfeiffer's frankly ridiculous dance to Cool Rider, Maxwell Caulfield's really unrealistic piano playing at rehearsals, Maureen Teefy's dreadful singing in the bomb shelter (cut from the soundtrack...) and the ever expanding and shrinking pool in the Luau sequence (the raft keeps vanishing...pay close attention). Seriously though, I spent years HATING this film until recently when I rediscovered it. it is fun, no pretensions, just a good laugh, good acting, some okay songs and some genuinely funny lines and Max and Michelle are more than anyone could ask for....
