| comments: | I recently read an interview wth 'GREASE 2' producer Allan Carr and he made some EXTREMELY disparaging remarks about Maxwell Caulfield. He claimed that production was shut down for 24 hours in a n effort to oust him from the cast, but the studio wanted him to stay. He says 'Talk about no chemistry...he didn't even have chemistry with himself. He had zero screen charisma' I think that is a terribly harsh and cruel thing to say about a fledgling 23 year old actor at the beginning of his career. Thankfully Carr himself (who also produced that paean to good taste 'Can't Stop The Music' with The Village People) hasn't exactly been raking it in recently..... |

Michelle Phiffer and Maxwell Caulfeld was the perfect combination for Grease 2. The songs from Grease 2 are good too. Overall it was a very good boy chase girl movie.
